Hi you guys! how was your weekend? Mine was pretty great, got to spend some time with my love, recharge the batteries and and enjoy the sun. Finally summer has arrived. So now I feel energized, inspired and super motivated for a new week.
However, today I wanted to share a simple recipe for homemade crispbread. It’s easy to make, and tastes 10 times better then the ones you can buy in the grocery stores.
- 3 dl sesame seeds
- 2 1/2 dl sunflower seeds
- 1 dl flaxseed
- 2 dl chopped almonds
- 1 dl water
- 1 teaspoon seasalt
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons phsyllicum husk
- 2 tablespoons coconutoil (optional)
Preheat the oven to 150°C. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and let the batter “rest” for about 10-20 minutes. This mixture is enough to fill up 2 baking trays, just remember to use a baking sheet, and only out one tray in the oven at the time. Put the batter on a tray, and form a large square. Then use a pizza knife and shape the crisp bread in smaller squares. By doing this before you put it in the oven, makes it much easier. Place the tray low in the oven, and bake for about 30 minutes. It depends on the oven, so make sure to keep an eye on it. Then you crack up the crispbreads and let it cool before serving.
I hope that you will try it out, and enjoy!
