Good morning sweethearts!
After I posted pictures of my breakfast yesterday, I got a lot of questions about how I prepare the chia pudding and which ingredients I use. So I thought i would share the recipe with you guys. It is super easy and tastes delicious, so make sure you will try it out. Chia seeds are super healthy and contain a lot of fiber, omega3, calcium and protein. They are a bit pricey, but considering that I only use about 2-3 tablespoons pr. serving it’s not so bad.
Recipe – makes 1 serving:
- 2-3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 deciliters coconutmilk or almondmilk (you can also use regular milk)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanillapowder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon sukrin (you can add regular sugar or honey if you don’t have any sukrin)
Mix the ingredients in a cup and put it in the fridge overnight (or at least for a few hours). Voila – simple as that.
I usually make this the night before and then have it for breakfast, but it also works well as a snack, if you are like me and crave something sweet during the day. For toppings I love berries, nuts, granola and coconut.
